We have been having an awesome time visiting family. On Christmas day we had a whole bunch of people get together... all our family. It was so much fun to see everybody. Some of which we haven't seen in a long while. I have such a cute family. :-)

Sunday Before Christmas

My mom bought each of the girls some beautiful dresses for Christmas so the girls wore them for church the Sunday before Christmas.

Sledding

We got quite a bit of snow so while my sister and I went to the store the guys took the kids to the hill at the park to sled. They had a blast!!!

Two on each side are cousins. The little girl in the middle is my half sister. They were all having fun playing follow the leader with a jump rope. Notice that all of them are girls. The boys in our family are VERY out numbered.

SNOW!!!

We woke up this morning and looked out the window and saw this!!! Lots and Lots of Snow. It actually feels a lot like Christmas today. Hopefully it will be a little bit warm today so the girls can go play in the snow. If they do I'll post more pictures.

We are having a fun time with family. Nattie isn't walking... yet. She did eat peas for the first time today. We also gave her rice cereal with bananas because I accidently bought the wrong kind. She loves it though so oh well. Mara and Syssa are having fun with their cousins. They've been playing hard the last couple days. We made Mara take a nap today because she was so tired. We hope all of you have a wonderful CHRISTmas. We should be enjoying the joy of our Savior's birth throughout the year. I think it's sad that we, even I, lose sight of the reason we are on this earth. Ok that's all I have to say. ;-) For now at least.

Plane Ride

The plane ride was a success. We made it!! The girls were a lot better behaved then I thought they would be but it was still quite stressful. Samara and Alyssa didn't sleep the whole way but Natalie slept most of the way. That was a relief. So for all you concerned whether we made it or not, we did. I haven't called many people because it's been kind of busy and I've been quite tired. I'll post more as we capture cute pictures. I'm going to go watch Frosty the Snowman with my kids. TTFN (ta ta for now.)

Samara got the VTech system that you hook up to the TV so the girls played with it. This is Alyssa singing her ABC's.

Our Early Christmas

We had our at home Christmas early again this year so we didn't have to take our stuff on our trip. Here are a few highlights of how the day went.



Natalie had a stocking. What a cutie. She got socks in her stocking.

Alyssa got a VTech kid laptop.


Natalie got playdough but she has to share.

Samara got a VTech system that hooks to the TV. How fun!!!

Making cookies for Chirstmas

We made cookies with some friends of ours. They had some mini rolling pins so the kids had fun making a mess with the rolling pins. It's kind of hard to teach kids under 5 that you have to roll the pin in flour before you roll the dough but they didn't turn out too bad.




After we rolled them out and baked them we decorated them. It was a HUGE mess but sooo much fun.

Chocolate... Yummy

We went to a friend's house to make chocolate pretzels and marshmallows. This is the little boy I babysit throughout the day. He had fun making a mess with his chocolate pretzels.















Samara had a fun time making a huge mess too. They almost got more chocolate on themselves than on the pretzels. Talk about yummy kids.



When Alyssa got home from school Julie and her went at it decorating some of the peanut butter chocolate balls that Chrysti made. As you can tell Alyssa had a lot of fun.
