I've been thinking about how important it is to memorize Bible verses and to "Hide God's word in my heart". I'm taking a huge stand against Satan and his lies telling me that I don't have time to memorize. I decided that I would start with John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man abides in me and I in him he will bear much fruit. Apart from me you can do nothing. Through Christ who strengthens me I will memorize verses of the Bible. For God's glory!

Illness and Parking

My triathlon training was put on hold. Actually our whole lives here in the Jones family were put on hold for the last couple weeks. We all came down with the flu. Ear infections, coughing, broncheolitis, sneezing, sniffling, aches and pains, and not to mention fevers. We are now over it although I still don't have my voice completely back yet. I am now back into my training and I pray that we all don't get sick like that ever again.

Triathlon Training

So, I have decided that I'm going to do a triathlon. My training officially started yesterday. We got a cheap treadmill off of Craigslist and I have a membership to a recreational center that has a pool. There is a small gym close to my house that I'll be practicing my bike at, at least while it's cold. I ran yesterday and about died and am sore today but it's a good feeling. I'm going to do the hardest part I think for me today and that's the swimming. Hopefully I'll catch on at some point. I'm bound and determined to at least finish one and see if I want to do another later on. I'm going to be doing it in July so wish me luck. I'll keep everyone posted about how my training is coming along

Alyssa sang in church this past Sunday. She sang Jesus Loves Me. She wasn't shy one bit. She also played the piano. Well, what her piano teacher has taught her so far. She did pretty good. She's a natural as far as performing on stage.

Samara got her coat all dirty so she wore Mommy's coat to the store with Daddy. What a cutie.

We have been having an awesome time visiting family. On Christmas day we had a whole bunch of people get together... all our family. It was so much fun to see everybody. Some of which we haven't seen in a long while. I have such a cute family. :-)
